Key Things to Know

At the end of each semester, the University conducts an online questionnaire against each module to get students’ feedback.

For Semester 2, the surveys will open on Tuesday 2 May 2017 and close on Friday 12 May 2017

Students access the surveys by logging into Blackboard, scrolling down and the surveys will appear on the bottom left hand side of the screen.

If you are pursuing professional programmes in Health Science or the LLM in Law, you may get emails at different times from the above, reflecting the start and end of your modules. Some subject areas are currently exempt from this online questionnaire – Graduate Entry Medicine and students in DACE.

On this page you’ll find a copy of Module Feedback Questions 2016-17 , including how your feedback is reviewed and a useful report Closing the Loop which discusses how universities are using questionnaires such as the one we use to improve your experience. If you have any queries, email the Module Feedback Team.

What have we done in response to your feedback?

Together We Changed

Module Feedback is the most direct and effective way to tell us how you feel about your experience at Swansea University.  The feedback that you give us goes directly to helping us make the changes that you want to see.

Your Module Feedback is used to plan and prioritise spending on refurbishment and improvement.

In response the University has:

  • Purchased new furniture across the Keir Hardie building with plans for making more improvements in the near future.
  • Purchased new furniture for Fulton House A, B and C, with plans to make further improvements.
  • Added additional study spaces during exams.
  • Created an additional PC lab for Science and Engineering students in the Digital Technium.
  • Introduced Blas, Costcutter and Swansea Outfitters, bringing student jobs and investment in the Student’s Union.
