Accessing MyUni

Once logged into the ‘Swansea Portal’ you will have links to:

  • Blackboard
  • Email
  • Intranet

As well as a number of other services, facilities and access to University information. To access the portal go to the University homepage:

www.swansea.ac.uk.

From here follow the ‘students’ link at the top right hand side of the page. This will take you to the portal login page, your login details will be:

USERNAME: - STUDENT NUMBER

PASSWORD: DATE OF BIRTH (DAY/MONTH/YEAR).

Once logged in you will have a portal homepage with a number of links.

Blackboard

To access blackboard click on the Blackboard link or icon when logged into Swansea

Portal, the login details will be:

USERNAME: STUDENT NUMBER

PASSWORD: DATE OF BIRTH

To navigate blackboard: click on the ‘My Studies’ tab at the top left of the page. The courses you are enrolled in will be listed under ‘Current 2018/2019 Courses’.

Any important announcements will be displayed on this page. Please ensure that you can access the Blackboard pages of all modules that you are enrolled on.

Here are some things that you should do during your first few weeks at university

Your user name is the first part of your Swansea University e-mail address before the @ symbol.

If your email address is 123456@swansea.ac.uk then your user name is 123456. Use your normal University password.
