Swansea University Opportunity Awards

Are you a UK or EU Student?

Is your funding not sufficient to cover your living costs?

Are money worries affecting your studies or wellbeing?

Are there upcoming or unexpected costs that you don't know how to pay?

If so, we are here to help!

The Swansea University Opportunity Award is available year round to assist students experiencing financial difficulty for all sorts of reasons; from the costs involved with studying abroad to those incurred when providing care for a dependent, and many more in between!

Did you know...?

You do not need to be in dire financial straits to be eligible for an award (please get in touch with Money@CampusLife for more information).

If you are a UK or EU student studying full or part-time on a mainstream undergraduate or postgraduate course, you are eligible to apply to the Fund.

The Fund is based on student income, not on parental income like Student Loans/Grants.

Any award you receive does not have to be repaid.

Students can apply as many times as they like throughout the academic year.

How do I Apply?

The Swansea University Opportunity Award is available to apply using our online application form which is available here: https://intranet.swan.ac.uk/studenthardship

Students will need to log on using their intranet log-in details. If you have any questions about the form please contact the Money@CampusLife team.
