You can book an appointment at either campus with a Careers Adviser through our online booking system.
Appointments are for 30 minutes, are available Monday to Friday and are bookable up to 3 days in advance.
If you have difficulties booking please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
You can discuss any careers topic with an adviser, but to get the most out of an appointment you need to prepare beforehand. For instance, this might be writing a draft of your CV or looking up some relevant information using resources such as this site, the Graduate Prospects website or TARGETjobs. These sites are excellent starting points for help with exploring types of jobs, getting work experience, writing CVs and lots more.
Where to go for your careers appointment
Singleton Park Campus: If you have booked an appointment on Park Campus please wait outside Careers interview rooms 1 and 2 where your Careers Advisor will meet you. The rooms are located on level 3 of the main library building (Level 3 is the entry to the library). Go past security, walk diagonally across the hall to the right hand corner. Go through the double doors and turn immediately to your right.
Bay Campus: All appointments take place in the SEA careers room L.O.40 in the Bay library.
If you have a job interview lined up and would like to book a mock interview with a Careers Adviser you should email email@example.com. Please give us as much notice as possible because there is a high demand for this service. Mock interviews are one hour long.

If you cannot attend your careers appointment
It would be really helpful if you can inform us and cancel the appointment as soon as you can as this would allow another student to book an appointment. You can cancel your appointment, with immediate effect, via our online system. We operate a non-attendance policy for all students (and graduates). If you fail to attend 3 appointments over the term you could find that we refuse to offer further appointments to you. This is in order to ensure that all students (and graduates) can access our appointments.
If you are late for your careers appointment
There is a high demand for our appointments with Careers Advisers. When you book your appointment please ensure that you book at a time that is convenient for you and ensure that you attend on time. If you are more than 10 minutes late for your appointment we reserve the right not to offer the appointment.
If you are travelling from outside Swansea, or have special circumstances (for example, if you have a disability, are a part-time student or are a first year student thinking about changing your course), please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
